• These very special hand-dyed silk batik scarves are available worldwide. Remember that one outfit + two beautiful scarves = two outfits.

• Your scarf will be an original batik on silk, hand-dyed on the Isle of Islay. It will be individually made like an original picture, starting with white silk, through application of the design by hand, the various stages of brush applications of wax, dyeing followed by drying with each colour and final removal of wax. Your scarf will have a hand-rolled hem.

• This will be done specially for you after you have placed your order and it is why we ask you to give us up to 28 days to despatch a scarf. It is also why, although Liz will keep to the designs illustrated and use the same dyes, no two scarves can ever be identical. Each one is unique.

• The differences in price reflect the difficulty and length of the work

involved in the creation of the various scarves.
